International Student Program (ISP) Application
Spectrum Airways is a Designated Learning Institution registered as an Ontario Career College.
International students (those who do not hold Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency in Canada), require a Study Permit for programs that are longer than six months. Study Permits are issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), find more information about acquiring your study permit here.
Before applying for a study permit, you must first receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) from Spectrum Airways. Study Visas will NOT be granted by the IRCC to applicants without both of these documents.
You may be eligible for a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) once you successfully complete your program.
Starting November 8, 2024, you must be enrolled in the designated learning institution (DLI) named on your study permit. This means you can no longer change DLI’s through your online account. To change DLI’s, you need to apply for a new study permit.
We strongly encourage students to apply for a LOA and PAL as early as possible for the desired intake date. IRCC’s processing time varies for different countries, and you may only travel to Canada once you receive your Visa from Immigration Canada.
