Ground School Registration

***All Ground School Classes are Non-Refundable***

• The minimum age to begin flight training at Spectrum Airways is 16 years of age. If you are under 16 years, but would still like to begin your Private Pilot ground school, please contact admissions@spectrumairways.com.

• If you miss a class during your Private Pilot Ground School, you will be required to book a private session with an Instructor to cover the missed material. The cost associated with this is CAD$95/hour.

• Due to Transport Canada requirements, your camera must be ON at all times throughout the online class and your face within the frame of your camera to verify that you are in attendance. We recommend you log in early to each class to ensure you do not have any technical issues. If your camera is not on, you will not be permitted to remain in the class and must make up the class privately with an Instructor at your own cost.

• PPL Ground School is subject to HST.

The following Advanced ground schools are conducted online through Harv's Air (pilottraining.ca). By purchasing through Spectrum Airways website, you will receive a $20 discount on the total price of the course. *NOTE you must be an existing or registered student of Spectrum Airways to purchase through our website. Once your order is complete, you will receive a registration email from Harv's Air within 1-2 days.

Our 1-On-1 Ground School is a great option if you have a unique schedule, want to accelerate your learning, or want the consistency of a single instructor for all ground instruction.

You will submit your availability and we will pair you with an instructor that can work with your preferred schedule. The selected instructor will contact you, and then you can set up when you will have your Zoom ground school sessions.
