International Student Program (ISP) - Caribbean Students
Are you a Caribbean student in need of premium flight training to prepare you for a career in aviation? Spectrum Airways is located in a temperate climate to get you prepared for flight in all weather conditions.
International students (those who do not hold Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency in Canada), require a Study Permit for programs that are longer than six months. Study Permits are issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), find more information about acquiring your study permit here. Before applying for a study permit, you must first acquire a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) from Spectrum Airways. We are a Designated Learning Institution registered as an Ontario Career College in Ontario. You may be eligible for a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) once you successfully complete your program. Please refer to IRCC and contact our Caribbean Development and Liaison Officer, Wingrove Baker for more information wbaker@spectrumairways.com.
We strongly encourage students to apply for a LOA and PAL as early as possible for the desired intake date. IRCC’s processing time varies for different countries, and you may only travel to Canada once you receive your Visa from Immigration Canada.
